We highly recommend Gas & Oil boilers are serviced annually. Gas is both colourless and scentless, so it can be hard to know if your boiler is safe or running efficiently. So its incredibly important these are checked by a gas safe registered engineer.

Oil fired AGAs are recommended to be serviced every 6 months.

Annual maintenance ensures it is running efficiently and follows building regulations.

Flue Inspection
A landlord has a duty to ensure the safety of all their tenants. That includes arranging the servicing and repair of any heating system in their homes. It is a legal requirement that a landlord has a CP12 or CD11 certificate and that all gas appliances are checked. This has to be renewed every year. Without them, you risk a fine and your appliances may be deemed as unsafe to use for your tenants;
